Compose the remainder of the email as usual and tap “Send”.Back in the mail composition window, tap in the mail body and hold until you see “Paste”, select that to insert the picture into the email as an attachment.Use a four-fingered swipe up or double-tap the Home button to bring up the multitasking bar, and select the Mail app to switch back to your mail message.Tap and hold on the image until you see “Copy” and tap to copy it.Locate the picture you want to attach to the email and tap to open it.Compose a new mail message as usual, then hit the Home button and launch the Photos app.For older iDevices, this is also the easiest way to send out a picture or two, here’s what you’ll want to do: You can also attach photos to emails by using Copy & Paste. Attach Photos to eMails with Copy & Paste Note the copy and paste method still works on the newest versions of iOS as well, it’s just not necessarily the fastest. The “Insert Photo” attach button in Mail app is around in all modern versions of iOS, it may look slightly different in prior versions but it’s the same in functionality. Send the email as usual with the photo attachment by tapping on “Send”.Locate the photo(s) to attach within Camera Roll of Photos app and tap on “Choose” to include the picture in the email message.Tap and hold within the body, then tap the right arrow button and choose “Insert Photo or Video”.Compose a new Mail message and tap in the Body area.Open the Mail app in iOS if you haven’t done so already. The invitation will be sent to everyone copied on the message. For newer iPhones and iPads, the simplest and fastest way to attach photos to an email is by using the tap-and-hold trick: Insert a calendar invitation into your email by clicking the Insert invitation icon and filling out the fields. It doesn’t matter where you drop your image, the file will position itself where you last clicked in the message. To embed an image in your email, you can click the Insert photos icon and browse for the file or, if you have Chrome, drag a single file and drop it into the body of the message. The files will attach at the bottom of the email. You can also attach files by dragging and dropping them into the body of the email. To remove an attachment, just click the x. Once attached, the file appears at the bottom of the message. To attach a file, click the paperclip and then browse for the file on your computer or local network. Hover over the paperclip icon on the bottom of the message to show options for attaching a file inserting a picture, document, emoticon, or calendar invite or creating a hyperlink. You can also insert calendar invites for easy event replies. With Gmail you can attach a document from your computer, Google Drive or from a web link. Often you need to include something in an email, even if you are already sharing files in Google Apps. ![]()
